GB/T 18883-2022 "Indoor Air Quality Standards" was approved and issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration) on July 11, 2022, replacing GB/T 18883-2002 "Indoor Air Quality Standards", and has been officially implemented since February 1, 2023.
Compared with the old standard, the new standard adds three chemical indicators and limit provisions, indoor air quality indicators from the original 19 to 22; The requirements for 4 chemical indicators (nitrogen dioxide, formaldehyde, benzene, inhalable particulate matter), 1 biological indicator (total bacterial count) and 1 radioactive indicator (radon) were adjusted.
